I wanted to send you this link where you can watch the replay of Tinu Pena, PMP, LEED AP

Tinu shared practical tips with Woman on the Move on how we as leaders and business owners can equip our children with the proper tools to take our vision into the next generation. She discussed how to set up a proper operating agreement, shareholders and business plan to set your business apart as a legacy business. Additionally, Tinu shared practical tips on how she helps involves her children on the day to day activities of her business.

I hope you enjoy watching this video and learning all of this amazing information from Tinu as much as I did.

The Gift of Empowerment https://womanonthemoveenterprises.com/the-gift-of-empowerment/ Mon, 24 Dec 2018 06:15:50 +0000 http://imediatestserver.com/WomenOnTheMove/?p=5088 “Build a dream and the dream will build you.” — Robert H. Schuller

Woman on the Move once again this year featured a group of amazing women trailblazers. This time our theme was ‘Livin’ Your Best Life’. However, we focused on many areas that were matters of the heart and weren’t necessarily about having the best experiences or doing the most. They were more so engulfed into how can we take what we have to be the best versions of ourselves.

The experience was incredible! As I look at the pictures and scroll through footage, I’m honored that God put it on my heart to share resources with women in this way. Our guests really got to know our panelists in a way that felt like a private conversation. The level of transparency and vulnerability was amazing! This interactive mastermind panel provided tips and key strategies that impact all areas of our lives. Our audience was extremely engaged and enjoyed asking questions. Our featured panelists included women who are business consultants, marketing experts, financial advisers, buyers, an engineer, and an ESPN sports anchor. What was also amazing is that we received our first corporate sponsor Northwestern Mutual!

“It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.”

Embracing your dreams, was such an important motif by many panelists. Your vision is essential to your success; it’s extremely important to nourish and protect it. Work on your legacy and build it.
Tips for you: Journal your vision for yourself, create a living list of things you must accomplish, check them daily, grab people who are close to you that are also visionaries to hold you accountable and then make a plan of action.

Connect with Winners, you may call them mentors, coaches or influencers; whatever title they hold in your life reach out to people who are doing what you seek to do! Don’t always be the smartest person in the room. Don’t make excuses, don’t downplay your greatness, just take the time to cultivate a relationship that can change your life forever. Our panelists shared amazing gems and we are all so grateful. To view pictures from the event click here.

The event featured (Left to Right): Lamara Davis (Ainkas Jewels), Keli Ferguson (ESPN, WPTV), Karen Holloway (Northwestern Mutual), Jasira Monique (Woman on the Move, Founder), Sheila Duffy-Lehrman (Tropic Survival) Nicole Cummings Peterkin (Sophisticated Out Loud), Shandra Stringer (Grassroots Consulting Inc.) and Charisma Adams (Faith & Flyness) Many attendees wanted to know more about our next set of events… we do have some very exciting changes coming up in 2019! Our next set of speakers are so impressive!

As a thank you for all of your support we wanted to give you exclusive accessto the next mastermind panel: Woman on the Move: Spring Forward Panel.

“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage” — Anais Nin

I’m so grateful that I was able to witness such a wonderful and diverse group of women come together to share lessons from their mothers. Our incredible panelists ranged from 21 to 73 years old and represented women who came from Muslim, Jewish, Christian and other religious backgrounds. Everyone had such a different and unique life experience, but together they all showed the beauty of nurturing.

The most interesting part of the event was the fact that our audience was both extremely engaged and impressive. Present were women from Make Your Life Happen radio, The Women’s Chamber of Commerce Palm Beach County and Alcolya St. Juste who was running for Circuit Court Judge Group 13. Our sponsor, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, CEO of a company that employs over 600 health care professionals, shared why she was running as a candidate for U.S. Representatives 20th Congressional District. It was truly amazing watching the women in the audience eagerly ask our panelists questions about advice they wished their mothers passed along such as: money management, career strategies, lessons from failure and the complexities of pursuing greatness.

We are not one dimensional.

Woman on the Move: Mother Should’ve Told Me Mastermind Event, West Palm Beach, Florida (July 2018)

Every woman represented how multi-talented, creative, inspirational, complex and brilliant we as women are. Some of us are healing from childhood neglect and abuse and others are thriving as we’ve allowed other women to help nurture and pour into us so that we can be whole for ourselves. This event helped show that whatever we lack, we have the key in each other. Our panelists were attorneys, pilots, dancers, hosts, creatives, marketing experts and so much more. They made sure to distinguish that they are not defined by what they do.

My mother would’ve been proud. She absolutely loved serving others and helping the community. There are so many reasons why I wanted to have this event in her honor, but the main reason is to help other women who like her didn’t hear and feel the love they desired from their mothers…whether by choice or by circumstance. It was a time of healing and we witnessed quite a few breakthroughs.

Woman on the Move: Mother Should’ve Told

“Fear will kill a dream you never knew you had!”

The local support of Woman on the Move has been amazing! The craziest part is this movement almost never happened. I was buried in responding to hundreds of inboxes and messages through social media and I thought that was enough.

Throughout the past 9 years, women have been very bold with their questions as it relates to the how to make their dreams happen. I’m not mad because I was just like them. In fact, I’ve been relentless with seeking answers from visionaries. I shamelessly messaged winners and asked them their strategy. I had become so proficient with strategic social media networking that I wrote an eBook, started writing an online eCourse while living in France (that I haven’t launched yet) and then started formally working in digital marketing. Friends who saw what I was doing wouldn’t let me sleep on Woman on the Move as a global movement outside of Facebook.

Now over the past two years, I’ve been working through lots of fear and doubt to MOVE out of my own way. I’ve actually started producing live events with women who have helped me build or are invested in building other women up! It’s been nothing but amazing!

Woman on the Move: Mother Should’ve Told Me Event, West Palm Beach, Florida (July 2018)

The Mother Should’ve Told Me… event featured (Front Row — Left to Right): Attorney Salesia Smith-Gordon, Ayize Hanif, Kianga Jinaki (KIanga Art), Jeniffer De Souza, Jasira Monique (Woman on the Move, Founder), Attorney Lynn Whitfield, Nicole Rymer (PowHer Hub) and Pilot — Ruth Jacobs (Treasure Coast 99s) In July, we hosted our Mother Should’ve Told Me… Event and we had so many incredible and heartfelt reviews come in that we know we’ll have to do it again. To view photos from the event click here.

We appreciate you not keeping your support a secret. Woman on the Move is growing and it’s because of visionaries like you!

Thank you!

“I got myself a start by giving myself a start” – Madame C.J. Walker

Last Sunday was nothing short of amazing!

I’m still in awe of all the incredible women who showed up to shower and pour into other women… I’m so grateful for the women who came with their minds and hearts open to take in the wisdom from these trailblazers that I call friends.

Woman on the Move featured a group of amazing women trailblazers for an in depth conversation on achieving your dreams through releasing things that hinder your focus and creativity. This interactive mastermind panel provided tips and key strategies that impact all areas of your life. Our featured panelists included women who are authors, mobile app developers, models, pageant winners, entrepreneurs and health care professionals.

What a blessing to be given a gift and share it with others.

Service, was such a huge theme at the event. Sometimes we are so engaged on social media that we forget how powerful it is to truly serve another person live and in person. Also, our panelists shared so many nuggets about the power of networking to build your brand and service to keep your brand and you in the minds and hearts of others. To view pictures from the event click here.

This point reminded of how my experiences of volunteering in Manila, Philippines and Hong Kong will always remain in my heart. Additionally, the experiences of serving with other leaders truly changed my mindset on the impact giving has on everyone, including the one who is giving the most.

Self-Care, was also huge as it relates to the fact that we can’t give to others what we’re not giving to ourselves. There were so many precious moments and memories that was shared last week and I’m so grateful to everyone for showing up and showing out.

The event featured (Left to Right): Jerisa Berry (Secure Your Fertility), Greta Moncayo (Three15 Apparel), Michaela Stewart (Lifestyle Match Group), Sandra Justice (Godz Sun Productions), Jasira Monique (Woman on the Move, Founder) Ann Marie Sorrell (The Mosaic Group) and Shavon Brown-Robinson (Bossy! Magazine)

Many attendees wanted to know more about our next set of events… we do have quite a few coming up, but we wanted to make sure to give you the details first on the next mastermind panel: Woman on the Move: Livin’ Your Best Life Mastermind Panel Discussion.
