The Gift Of Empowerment

The Gift of Empowerment

“Build a dream and the dream will build you.” — Robert H. Schuller

Woman on the Move once again this year featured a group of amazing women trailblazers. This time our theme was ‘Livin’ Your Best Life’. However, we focused on many areas that were matters of the heart and weren’t necessarily about having the best experiences or doing the most. They were more so engulfed into how can we take what we have to be the best versions of ourselves.

The experience was incredible! As I look at the pictures and scroll through footage, I’m honored that God put it on my heart to share resources with women in this way. Our guests really got to know our panelists in a way that felt like a private conversation. The level of transparency and vulnerability was amazing! This interactive mastermind panel provided tips and key strategies that impact all areas of our lives. Our audience was extremely engaged and enjoyed asking questions. Our featured panelists included women who are business consultants, marketing experts, financial advisers, buyers, an engineer, and an ESPN sports anchor. What was also amazing is that we received our first corporate sponsor Northwestern Mutual!

“It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.”

Embracing your dreams, was such an important motif by many panelists. Your vision is essential to your success; it’s extremely important to nourish and protect it. Work on your legacy and build it.
Tips for you: Journal your vision for yourself, create a living list of things you must accomplish, check them daily, grab people who are close to you that are also visionaries to hold you accountable and then make a plan of action.

Connect with Winners, you may call them mentors, coaches or influencers; whatever title they hold in your life reach out to people who are doing what you seek to do! Don’t always be the smartest person in the room. Don’t make excuses, don’t downplay your greatness, just take the time to cultivate a relationship that can change your life forever. Our panelists shared amazing gems and we are all so grateful. To view pictures from the event click here.

The event featured (Left to Right): Lamara Davis (Ainkas Jewels), Keli Ferguson (ESPN, WPTV), Karen Holloway (Northwestern Mutual), Jasira Monique (Woman on the Move, Founder), Sheila Duffy-Lehrman (Tropic SurvivalNicole Cummings Peterkin (Sophisticated Out Loud), Shandra Stringer (Grassroots Consulting Inc.) and Charisma Adams (Faith & Flyness) Many attendees wanted to know more about our next set of events… we do have some very exciting changes coming up in 2019! Our next set of speakers are so impressive!

As a thank you for all of your support we wanted to give you exclusive accessto the next mastermind panel: Woman on the Move: Spring Forward Panel.
